Afghanistan Relief Alliance is a coalition of Afghan American and other nonprofit and various business organizations.

The current political unrest and forced evacuations of 500,000 people from their homes are unfolding humanitarian catastrophe with 80 percent of them being women and children, mostly living on dirt without any shelter. This is added to the already 2.9 million internally displaced by the end of 2020. Children are suffering from acute malnutrition, which causes a significant increase in child deaths. Alongside conflict, the COVID-19 infection, drought, lack of safety and security, lack of clean water and food has hit the most vulnerable the hardest. The need for water, food, blankets, first aid kits is higher than ever.

Afghanistan Relief Alliance (ARA) is a 501 C (3) nonprofit organization bringing life-saving aid to Afghans on the brink of starvation. Close to 97 % of Afghanistan's population has plunged into severe poverty this year, making Afghanistan the worst humanitarian crisis globally.

Economic collapse, fueling a cash shortage, joblessness and hunger, caused nearly half the population of Afghanistan (20 million) to face acute hunger and starvation.

Afghanistan Relief Alliance was established by a small group of volunteers who are not motivated by title, position, and accolades helping to provide leadership and guidance and help pave the way for a long-term and sustainable strategy.
