Afghanistan Relief Alliance (ARA) is a 501 C (3) nonprofit organization bringing life-saving aid to Afghans on the brink of starvation. Close to 97 % of Afghanistan's population has plunged into severe poverty this year, making Afghanistan the worst humanitarian crisis globally. Economic collapse, fueling a cash shortage, joblessness, and hunger, caused nearly half the population of Afghanistan (20 million) to face acute hunger and starvation.
